This French-Iranian entrepreneur is at the helm of Syrah, the French eco-friendly clothing brand.

Life story

Could you introduce yourself in a few words?

PARYSATIS PEYMANI. My name is Parysatis, I’m 32 years old and I co-founded Syrah Paris, a brand of sexy essentials that’s made in France. My time is spent between Paris and Marseille because I can’t survive without sunshine!

Is there a turning point in your life that made you the woman you are today?

P.P. As a child, I was raised in two wonderful cultures, France and Iran, that have a lot in common!

What is your greatest pride?

P.P. My daughter Izeh, my family and my business.

What is a typical day like for you?

P.P. I get up at about 7:30 a.m., eat breakfast with my daughter and husband, do a morning workout twice a week, then take a shower and start work about 9, either on my computer or in my workshops, at a photo shoot or in fabric warehouses. I end the day around 7 p.m., take care of my daughter, then have dinner with either my husband or some friends!

What is your current project?

P.P. Fashion, which is constantly evolving, and Iran, which is in turmoil.

A leitmotif/mantra in life?

P.P. Carpe diem, life is short, so have the courage to try everything and regret nothing.

Beauty and well-being

How did you build your relationship with beauty/well-being?

P.P. My mother always taught us to take care of ourselves, take care of our skin. So I’ve always taken care of myself with a weekly me-time session.

How do you take care of yourself today? What are your me-time moments?

P.P. My morning shower and beauty care afterwards! I love my rituals, the smell of creams on my skin. It’s soothing and makes me feel like I’m giving my body what it needs.

What advice would you give for people to feel good about themselves?

P.P. Don’t compare yourself to others and cherish your differences, because those are your strengths and make you unique.

What’s your daily beauty habit for well-being?

P.P. A homemade yoga face! It takes 2 minutes and it makes a big difference in the long run.

How do you see the future of beauty?

P.P. Technology and nature working together!

Routines and skin care

What’s your relationship with your skin? Has that changed over time?

P.P. I’ve always had acne and rosacea, so I’ve always taken really good care of my skin and tested lots of different things. These days, I’m also learning to go without makeup as early in the day as possible to let my skin breathe.

What is your daily routine?

P.P. Right now, I get up and spray my face with rose water, then apply the new myBlend eye cream and their Revitalizing Cream while giving myself a face massage! At night, I take off my makeup with La Roche Posay makeup remover, then use the Nuskin brush, then I apply myBlend Anti-Wrinkle Serum and Revitalizing Cream again, sometimes a Decléor mask on the cheekbones to really moisturize that area.

Any beauty tips you wish you had known when you were younger?

P.P. Double cleansing – it’s super important at bedtime.

Your must-haves: The product(s) you would take to a desert island?

P.P. The Nuskin brush and the Revitalizing Cream! It’s incredible.

What are your favourite myBlend products?

P.P. The Revitalizing Cream, the Eye Care Concentrate and the Anti-Wrinkle Serum 🙂
