The products

Where are myBlend products made?

What is your policy in terms of ingredient choices and product safety?

We choose ingredients that are as effective as possible while respecting the skin and its microbiota.
We have ruled out all controversial chemical ingredients from our formulas: paraben, mineral oil, sulphate, phenoxyethanol, BHT, phthalate, volatile silicone, and so on. Containing 90% ingredients of natural origin, a myBlend product is always clean, and makes no compromises on sensoriality or pleasure of application. To find out more about our formulation policy, visit the Formulation & Ingredients page.

Are myBlend products hypoallergenic/non-sensitising?

All myBlend products have been tested under dermatological control. Given the active ingredients used and their high concentration, some products can be sensitising for certain skin types (example: Skin Renewal Peel). We recommend that you always test a new cosmetic on a small part of your face before use. In addition, some products contain declared allergens. If necessary, refer to the INCI lists on each product page to find out what they are.

How many times can I use the LED mask?

Three or four times a year in cycles of 6 to 8 weeks, 4 treatments per week.

From what age can I use the LED mask?

20 years and over with greater benefits between 30 and 60 years

Should I apply a product before applying my LED mask?

The LED mask should be applied to healthy, perfectly cleansed skin.

Can I wear my jewellery during the session?

We recommend removing jewellery to use the LED mask safely, (necklace, nose/brow/other face piercing, earrings).

How should I clean my LED mask?

The LED mask should be cleaned with sanitising wipes after each use.

Should I close my eyes or keep them open?

We recommend that you keep your eyes closed and adjust the level of protection to avoid any form of glare.

Can I use my mask more often and longer by selecting a phototype that is different from my own?

No, because too much exposure would have the opposite effect to the one you expect, because of the heat released and the inhibiting effect of high-dose light. You must respect the recommended time and programme.

I regularly use products containing retinol or AHA/BHA. Can I use the LED mask?

We recommend waiting for a week before starting your LED mask treatment.

How can you be certain about the results you claim?

We have carried out a clinical study with our expert doctor dermatologist François Michel. The published results can be found on the product sheet for the LED mask.

Can I lend it out and use it several times a day on different people?

We recommend that you follow the instructions for use so that your LED mask will last for a long time. Ensure that you respect the use times according to your phototype, and leave the mask to rest for 30 minutes between each treatment session on different people.

How can I be sure that the myBlend LED mask is the best on the market and that it is a good quality product worth its price tag?

Our myBlend LED mask has been developed in association with experts such as Doctor of Dermatology François Michel, based on existing publications and studies, and is designed to deliver maximum results.
An independent laboratory has also conducted a clinical study showing the results of our product. This study is available on the product page of the LED mask

If I apply creams or serums before my mask, will that enhance its effects? Or is it a contraindication?

The LED mask should be applied to healthy, perfectly cleansed skin that is free of cosmetic or other products.

What are the differences between LED light and UVA/UVB?

The principle of LED light is to emit only the wavelengths that have a beneficial effect, and in the case of the mask, this is red and infrared close to red.

I am very sensitive to the sun and I can’t expose my skin to sunlight. Can I use the LED mask? Will I run the risk of having a photo-sensitizing reaction?

The mask has only red and IR light inside, nothing else. The sun’s spectrum is wider.
In actual fact, the mask can treat sunburn.

What are the contraindications for using the mask?

– Children & pregnant women.
– Taking photo-sensitising products: taking retinoids, or other photo-sensitising drugs, is a contraindication to any photo-therapeutic treatment (list of photo-sensitising products can be found at the end of the treatment protocol book). In addition, perfumes, essential oils, etc. should also be avoided. If in doubt, consult a dermatologist or specialist.
– Anti-inflammatory treatment: reduces the benefits of LED therapy.
– Cancer patients: the use of phototherapy on cancer patients is at the discretion of medical specialists.

I can’t understand how to use my LED mask, where can I find more explicit information? Is there a leaflet that explains it more clearly?

The myBlend website contains a video explaining how to use our LED mask and you can contact us through our website or on social media if you would like any further information.

What is the lifespan of the myBlend LED mask?

The LED mask guarantees 50,000 hours of LED life. The myBlend LED mask is under guarantee for two years.

I have seen an aesthetic doctor for treatments (botox, injections, tensor threads, dermabrasion, etc.) How long should I wait before using the mask?

The use of phototherapy on these individuals is at the discretion of medical specialists. It is normally recommended to wait a week.

My face has felt tight after using the mask.

The LED mask should be applied to cleansed, cosmetic-free skin. The red and infrared LEDs’ active effect stimulates skin and can leave it feeling tight. It is recommended to apply products suitable for quickly correcting skin tightness after the session.

I have noticed some irritated spots on my face after using the mask.

The LED mask rests on certain areas of the face (cheekbones, forehead), which may cause a little redness. This redness is caused by the heat emitted by infrared light and will disappear a few minutes after the session.
